Terms and conditions

1. Send a booking request from the tour page with your name and email. A request doesn't commit you to anything.
2. We email you to confirm the date and ask for the details of everyone travelling.
3. We send an invoice for the advance payment.
4. Your booking is confirmed once we receive the advance payment. We then send you a confirmation and the full invoice.

Prices are per person, in euros, and include what each tour page lists under “What's included”.

• Groups of 2 or 3 pay a small-group supplement, shown on the tour page. It is refunded to everyone once a fourth traveller books.
• A single room in Ulaanbaatar costs extra, shown on the tour page.

Payment is not taken on this website. We send each invoice by email with how to pay.

• Advance payment: 30% of the tour price, to confirm your booking.
• Balance: due 30 days before departure.

To cancel, tell us in writing by email. Once your booking is confirmed, these fees apply, counted from the day we receive your email:

Send us your bank details (IBAN) and we refund the rest by bank transfer within 7 days of receiving them. Bank transfer fees are yours.

We may change dates, times or the itinerary for your safety, for example because of the weather, without compensation.

If we have to cancel a tour because of force majeure, for your safety, or by order of the authorities, we are not liable for it.

We are not responsible for changes, missed days or extra costs caused by flight delays or by running out of time.

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Take out full cover in your home country, including medical treatment and repatriation. Before your trip, email us your insurer's details and emergency number, and phone numbers for relatives we can call. See Before you go.

• Your passport, visa and other travel documents are your responsibility, as is checking which vaccinations and health measures are recommended before you leave.
• We are not responsible for delays, or for loss of or damage to belongings or people, during your stay.
• Roads, hygiene, phone coverage and water supply in the countryside are basic, and beyond our control.
• We are not responsible for events beyond our control, such as weather, political events, war, unrest, strikes, riots, or technical or administrative incidents.
• We cannot guarantee the standard of medical treatment, a doctor or medically trained person nearby, or particular medicines.
• Your health and wellbeing are your responsibility. You agree not to claim damages from us for accidents or illness during or after your stay.
